It's never been as big a "thing" on the celeb series really, and it used to be a much bigger part of the civilian series than it is now. They end up stuffing them with "treat meals" and alcohol whether they win the shopping tasks or not . For some reason they think alcohol generates drama, but some of the old series' had HUGE issues erupt because of losing the shopping tasks .
