The second most popular series was Series 5, which pulled in with an average of 5 million and 25%. Series 7 clawed back viewers last year, with a 4.7 million average. The first and second series performed equally as well, with very slight differences in their figures; series 1 managed 4.7 million (26%), and series 2 entertained 4.6m (24%). The fourth and sixth editions of the show are least popular with fans, and the ratings reflect this. Big Brother 4 managed 4.6 million or 22%, and the sixth series could only muster 4.4 million with the same share. The difference between best and worst is around 1.5m on average.
