Ellie's laugh - fake or real?

Everytime, she talks and laughs, it comes across fake and forced.
Why is she so happy now while Lotan is gone? Forgotten too soon?

She's really dull then all of a sudden it's like a light goes on in her head and she realises she needs to go into character. She is fake, i suspect she is a bubbly person on the outside but she been advised by her manager to amp it up x10 in the house!
