An international housemate swap between the first series of Big Brother Slovenia and the second regular season of Pinoy Big Brother (Philippines) has ended in controversy after fans were outraged by remarks made by Slovenian housemates about their guest from the Philippines.

While Bruce, the Pinoy Big Brother housemate, was out in the garden Slovenian housemate Pero said to Miha that if Bruce dipped his finger into milk, it would turn into cocoa. Miha laughed and replied that if Bruce got into the jacuzzi the water would turn brown.

No action was taken initially by Big Brother but following outrage on fansites and in the local press, Big Brother finally took action once Bruce had left to return to the Philippines - leading to another controversy in itself.

The Slovenian housemates were told that racist and offensive behaviour would not be tolerated and as a result, Miha and Pero would automatically be up for eviction. Pero reacted furiously to the punishment and announced that he would go and stab Big Brother, to which Big Brother responded by evicting him immediately.

Miha still faces eviction on Saturday night along with the week’s other nominees - and until this incident had been very popular with the voting public.
