I don't like the sun so stay out of it as much as possible, last time I was burnt was in Turkey when out walking it caught the back of my legs and boy did I know about it,I could hardly walk the day after, never again.

my hand was really burnt last year from a holiday and so was my shoulders. Which was my own fault for having the wrong factor.
What factor did you use? but next time apply it again like an hour after or so.

I don't get sunburned. If I do it just turns into tan after a couple of hours of redness.
I have had sunstroke though and that was honestly one of the most horrible feelings I've ever had. Last edited by Daniel-X; 02-06-2017 at 01:17 PM. |

Once had blisters all over my back, which then got infected and I had to go to Dr's in Gran Canaria for the nurse to pop them all
It was so painful I couldn't even have a shower

I get sunburnt as soon as I think about the sun so am really careful. Have had sunstroke and sunburn a lot but the worst time was in Tenerife and I had been careful to put my factor one million on.....lay on the sunlounger for a while thinking I was fully protected. Had forgotten about the soles of my feet and burnt them.....was in agony....shoes were my enemy for a few days.

I've had really bad sunstroke before (young stupid and no sun cream) and it was awful.
So now I stay well clear of the sun and treat my delicate peelly wally skin to shade whenever possible |

Working on a farm I had to spray down a large amount of fertiliser stuck on the bottom of a massive tank, roughly 15 feet. Yes this was an actual life choice.
So I'm spraying it down with a pressure hose in the 40 degree heat (God bless Australia) not realising as I lift my arms to aim the hose into areas heavy with fertiliser that my shirt is riding up. I was doing this for 4 hours. In 40 degree heat. Needless to say, my lower back and very pale arse looked exactly like: |

Don't get sunburn, have had sunstroke when falling asleep in the sunshine.
Only time I ever had serious burn issues when I stuck my head under a sun lamp and fell asleep. I was actually asked if I had been in a fire when people saw the damage, yet it never scarred thank goodness. |
