It is rumoured that there will be a wheelchair bound housemate in the course of Big Brother 8; Pete Bennett, winner of Big Brother 7, and a sufferer of tourette's syndrome, proved to be a popular contestant, and producers are hoping to follow up his success.
It has been rumoured that a young offender, who has received an ASBO, will be a 'fake contestant' during one week of Big Brother 8. It will be his duty to sabotage a task, and create paranoia in the house. However, considering he has a criminal record for "breaking into cars and shoplifting," it is unlikely the producers of Big Brother will be legally allowed to accept him onto the show. [1]
Another rumoured twist is that the first housemate to join the house on opening night will be set a mission straight away by Big Brother: not to talk to anyone for the first week. Other rumoured housemates include a Greek art student, a failed stand-up comedian, and an extra from 'The Bill'. Moreover it is rumoured that 7 of the housemates will be homosexual or bisexual. [2]
Another rumor is that a one-legged japanese politics student with a nut allergy will be entering the house. Another rumoured entrant will be the world's first ever known alien from another planet! some are old.
