So the covers were up, then suddenly they are thrown back and we see Sarah fondling Chad's hardware, then the covers are pulled up again. Was this a cynical play for votes/public favour?

Nobody is going to think "omg Sarah was touching Chad's dick so I'm gonna vote to save her!!111" - if anything it'd put people off so no, not a play for votes AT all
