Default Housemates: True Rumour?

Hi, just found this in DS:BB.

****
The message, which states that it was a real piece of information appeared at around 17:30 BST this afternoon, and disappeared around half-an-hour later. The message contained the Names, Age and Towns of 3 of the housemates. It also stated that one of the three named was only a 'possibly', but that the other two are apparently guaranteed.

The message read as follows:

Title: This Years Housemates... Guaranteed Information.

1. Sally, 24 surrey... possibly
2. Lee, 26, Sussex... guaranteed
3. Malcolm, 31, London. guaranteed
******

Ckick here for more

I dont think this is a rumour, or why would they take it down so quick??

Yes, good sleuthing, mcginn. I just hope the "leak" doesn't stop these two from getting into the house. As Di says, we'll just have to wait and see.

Only two days to go!!!!

The Sun believes it is has got the list of 12

See this link

Note how these names DO NOT talley with Digital Spy.

Could there be some missinformation being spread ?

I wonder whether the Sun article is anywhere near close to being correct?

Only two more days and we'll find out...

I hope for their sakes that the 12 people featured in the Sun article ARE the 'test housemates' or a 'reserve list'.

Because if they're not, and they were the 12 who were to be going into the BB house this Friday, then I'm virtually certain that this article will have totally scuppered this.

We have NEVER known the identities of the housemates before the start of the show, and Big Brother has always been adamant that, if any of the identities are revealed, then that person would not go into the house.

If they were the intended 12, and this article has spoiled their chances, then I'd feel very sorry for them.

I have a feeling though, that we will see 12 entirely different faces come Friday night.

Can't wait!

I remember seeing interviews with housemates after they have left the house saying that if they got into the paper, any paper, they would not go into the house So, like you Kaz, i hope for these 12 they are just the test housemates

This is in The Guardian today
Mohan jumps the gun on Big Brother

Wednesday May 21, 2003

Great excitement at the Sun yesterday after columnist Dominic Mohan got his grubby mitts on mugshots of the 12 Big Brother contestants. But readers lured in by the "exclusive" tag and the front-page headline - "Are these the Big Brother 12?", are in for a disappointment. The short answer, it seems, is no, as anyone who could be bothered to read Mohan's bizarre piece could probably have worked out for themselves. Despite the clandestine-sounding operation ("The call came at 11.15pm and a gruff voice spluttered down the phone: 'I have the names of all the Big Brother contestants'"), Monkey can "exclusively" reveal Mohan has been sold a pup. "They've been doing dummy runs with some of the applicants to check the camera positions and make sure everything works. That's what the Sun has been given. Dominic called yesterday and was told as much, but for some reason they've still decided to run it," says Monkey's man in the know.

Dominic Mohan's never been known to let the facts get in the way of a good story.

I know that she wasn't an original housemate, but Sophie's pic was in the paper too before she went in the house.

No, it's not just you, Mark. I think he looks a little like Paul too, especially at first sight.

How gutted would you be if your name slipped and it meant not being able to go on BB, you'd feel horrible.
I'm sure if it is just the first name sof the people it wouldnt be too bad and Im sure they would still let them enter.
