Default Last Ever Simpsons Soon?

The makers of The Simpsons are planning on making a huge and successful exit, by making 3 big films, of which one will be released this year. The third film is rumoured to be in cinemas in 2009.

This means that The Simpsons, one of the world's most popular comedy programmes, will be ending in just 2 years!

I never thought the Simpsons would ever end!
But I suppose every TV show does. I'm sure the films will be successful, and I think it's cool they're ending in such a way.
Although I'm not the biggest fan, I do like it - fans will have to make do with re-runs soon, like other fans have done with other shows.

It can't ever end.. it's one of the best shows on TV.. adult humour and humour for kids.. it has the right balance.. I always say those that don't like the Simpsons have no sense of humour any way Power to The Simpsons.. may it NEVER end.

Ditto. It's so funny. Anyone who doesn't like it is kinda weird.

They have to keep going as long as they can. It's already an iconic television program - a few more seasons and it will make televisual history...

For me. That's good news and bad news. Good news it's ending. Bad news it's going to take two years. Even more bad news they will repat the confounded things for ever and a day....

The Simpsons is one of those shows, for me, that I never watch but am glad to know that it's still on. It will have to eventually end.

I don't mind it ending, but my Sunday nights will be empty if the King of the Hill rumor is true as well. FOX has produced great animated shows.
