I always think that dances are improved by using traditional music, something Spanish for the paso, and something Argentinian for the tango. This is my favourite piece of tango music:

I think you would be excellent setting the music to the dances.

It depends on the dance as to what music I'd like.
Some music just doesn't suit.

Personally I prefer music and songs from the past.
When I went to some dance classes a few years ago,although I used to waltz as a teen with my Grandmother.
The dance teacher who taught me a lot,had a thing for a track called Zambesi.
After hearing it for goodness knows how many times I got near sick of the tune.

However it is a great track to dance to.
So I'd likely use that for one.
