It was always a bad deal that should never have been accepted. The "raise" is barely even in line with where pay should have been without the constant freezes... it was a cynical token gesture that the unions basically pushed members into accepting by saying "well it's the best you're going to get".
NHS Scotland is offering a bigger rise (9% over 3 years rather than England's 6.5% over 3 years) and tbh, even 9% doesn't really hit the mark of what's deserved. |
