No, can't get into it.

Been watching it and am just finding he whole thing contrived, BB is always contrived but this is in your face to the point of incredulity.

I don't want to watch almost a dozen screeching harpies, an older woman supposedly with a mouth who wanted to have a fight, bring it on!!!, and has been quite as a lamb since she went in there. The other older woman who quite franky might as well leave, the paint is more interesting. I can't even be bothered with their names, theres no real drama or engagement with the characters for me to form a bonded opinion, unlike other series where I though one may deserve to win and in general the rest where desperate losers, and my chosen winner was only marginally less of a desperate loser, which is the fun of it, but at least I was being entertained - this time I'm not.

The bloke, the one bloke, it just feels set up with a "posh" wannabe lookalike in there, and Łndemol are setting them up as a poor mans Posh and Becks, in another thread I called them a "tribute couple". I stand by that - it seems so obvious to me, and if it looked like it wasn't going to come off Łndemol would engineered a way very sharpish to get rid of one of them.

For me. theres just no drama - the "highlight" has been a barny about hair straighteners for gods sake.

and when Ziggy was being chased around and they were trying to rip his undies off, for what I do not know cos if they managed it none of them would know what to do with it [on TV anyway - except shriek and giggle like cackling hags], but I did wonder what would have happened if that had been reversed - men chasing a woman around with intent to strip her on camera, it doesn't take much to imagine the nation-wide garment rending [pun intended ].

Make-up and shoes and hair products and namedropping ....the sum total of the last week

I doubt I'll stick with it much longer if this keeps up, its just not engaging me and I just don't care, - a massive blaze, firemen rescuing them from the roof may peak my interest, but somehow I doubt thats going to happen.

Ah well. Tomb Raider Anniversary is going to be getting some serious stick

It's been a great first week. I was actually really dissapointed with it all on launch night but over the past week my opinion has changed big time, it's all been really good to watch. Hope it continues throughout the show.

Starting out, well, been watching BBAU, so anything would have been a treat. The other show was getting so repetitive that it was almost boring. Launch night, had big expectations, seemed like I got what I wanted, then...

The big characters on launch night turned dull. But it allowed those smaller characters to become more engaging and I've latched onto that, but honestly -- My biggest disappointment with this series is they went to such efforts to scramble up the house, and it apparently has had no effect on the housemates, as they've yet to bother to show anything of it since launch night.

It's like, gosh, the fridge is outside, the oven's in the bedroom, and no one cared. Tub in the living room? Has it been used? Don't know. The all female house was a nice twist, but the Man Friday was a disappointment. What a twist it would have been to offer to trade housemates for men. Or trade luxuries - we'll give you a guy, but you give us all your makeup.

So, yeah, I'm enjoying the series, the characters have made up for whatever small blunders the producers have made.
