Pah. Only what they are entitled to anyway. Just trying to make himself look good.

Now if he scrapped it altogether....

I know
I recorded Sophie Ridge Political Show
she read it out on a list
I just had a chance to watch the ending.

Then I looked it up on the web
found out its the over 75's battle.

I was hoping for a brain wave idea
take it out of the tax all us workers pay.

If he took it away
it could come out of General Tax
go straight to the BBC.

It's a grey vote winner.. but will all the people who's taxes are paying for it be happy? Why isn't it coming from BBC profits.

How thick are we? Banks feck up.. taxpayers!
Train companies feck up.. Taxpayers!
Boris tv giveaway. .. Taxpayers!

i say charge the young for using the internet (say Ł250 a year if you are under 30) and use that money. They would only piss it away on drink and clothes?

They already pay for their internet silly sausage. They also pay for their TV licences.

The over 75s should have the free licence.
It was promised to be maintained by the Conservatives in 2017.

So if he is looking to finance it still, then at least he'd be honouring that election pledge.

However, just scrap the ridiculous thing altogether, once and for all, in my view.

What about the over-30s who account for 99% of internet trolls?

They should return the age exception to what it was. I believe it was 65 before? I might be wrong on that.

Boris is just attempting to gain favour but half-repealing something that May's government did wrong. It would feel more genuine if he completely repealed it.

Free tv license for everyonewould be better tbh Along with the 'advisors' having training in customer service, instead of seemingly being taught they are police with the power to barge into your home like so many think is fine. Along with the lies they tell.

I mean it’s great and all but he needs to be focusing on what he was employed for - Brexit. Sort that **** out before trying to start anything else

He's Prime Minister, he's sort of hired for it all.
