So I went out tonight and just got a taxi home. Getting out I shut the door on my fingers. Argh.

Have you ever done anything like this?

I've hit myself in the eye opening the door. Right on the corner, could have had me out.

Yes I was about 12 and it hurt like hell, nail went black and I had to have a hot needle to release the blood, then it was fine but the nail had to grow out and fall off

Worst was though once I had my fingers out of the window like holding the top of the door, and my sister [driving] parked up the car and closed the electric windows on my knuckles that were about an inch or two down.

When I screamed in agony, she panicked and pulled the button more thus crushing my fingers more!!

If it's very cold, those two knuckles sometimes throb/pain slightly. Odd.

Not a Car door, but I've had my right hand shut over by a door from a Teacher in Primary School when I was about 9-10 years old. It hurt like hell.
