Angela Rayner would be fantastic imo.

Love Jess Phillips too. Very likeable.

Angela Rayner. I do like Rebecca Long-Bailey too though as an alternative.

Nandy is my MP and I just think she lacks the charisma needed.

Jess is a self serving snake. She would be terrible.

Angela. RLB is a good Nothern representative but she just wouldn't have the voice to unite everybody as leader.

But being serious now Lisa or Jess are the only people who can bring the Labour voters back as they respected the result of the referendum and aren’t under Corbyns thumb but unfortunately Momentum will elect Rebecca or angela or Keir and Labour will only have themselves to blame when they flop again.

Nandy and Jess Phillips are too self serving. Lisa isn’t popular in Wigan, she’s only kept her seat for so long because Wigan wouldn’t elect anybody else.

Rayner is quite soft left, I don’t see this ‘under Corbyn’s thumb’ thing at all. And Starmer led the vote AGAINST Corbyn he’s like Tony Blair more or less with his ideologies. Hence why the tories want him the least.

Angela Rayner has an admirable story, speaks her mind and didn’t cause a divide in the Labour Party, which didn’t look good in the lead up to the election.

She’s articulate, speaks to the everyday working class as she can relate and comes across as genuinely passionate. She’s perfect.

Rayner is annoying and has a complex about her always making out she’s hard done by.

Keir is the shadow Brexit secretary, the architect of Labours Brexit policy which resulted in their worst election result in decades. Nasal voice and looks like a slug too.

Yeah I don’t like Starmer at all. He wouldn’t go down well up here in my ends, too “posh”.

David Lammy is another - not very likeable and a bit “holier than thou”.

A Northern woman is the way to go it seems!

Lisa was none existent in the main in this election, she made the odd appearance but not supportive enough to want to lead the party.

I'm wary of all those why skulked about in the wings during campaigning for election only to stride out now and say they want to lead labour? ... feck off!

I'd not heard of Nandy until recently, but I really like her!

RLB ... no.

Rayner is cool, she's up there.

Starmer is okay, he's been the most media-friendly from Labour recently.

Thornberry has a certain insufferable unlikeability. She won't win back the "core Labour vote" when she's a sneering liberal from London.

All I know about Phillips is when she was crying in the news about nasty tweets.

Andy Burnham would be good, or maybe dust off the ole David Milliband.

David Lammy is too focused on his own race, he'd probably think every time someone criticised him it was a hate crime.

Not wanting to publicly align themselves with the party leadership is a good move tbh. I'm not saying they should have constantly trashed him, but he's so unpopular that it wouldn't be good for their campaign to focus on anything but their constituency.
