Like Shabnam, she unknowingly makes me laugh

I like Nicky but I dont see a fun side to her..... and when she went into the diary room and say "I am fun godamit"..well...anyone who has to reasure herself that she's fun cant really be sure.

I would love to see the cheeky side to her that I am sure is in there

The only time I have seen the fun side of her was when she was with Seany, 'the twin' (which one I do not know?) and the pork pie.

She's serious all of the time and it is hard to see the light hearted side of Nicky.

Yeah, I'm one of them too. She did seem obsessive over food, however I thought all her reasons and 'moans' were justified. The reason why she probably doesn't come across as fun is because she is overshadowed by the other larger characters in there. I think that's why her large character in terms of standing up for herself begins to show more.

Either way, I think she's one to watch... at the end of the day for some HMs, it does take a while for their full characters to show, so I'm willing to give everyone a chance - and that could just be the case with Nicky.

I agree with you Ash that her moans are justified, other people just dont see the importance of making sure the food lasts.

I can see lots of myself in Nicky, and she is very practicle and like you said, this may come across as not being fun. There has to be a sensible one in the house and maybe because she is 28 and slightly older than the majority of the housemates she takes that role on of a motherly nag. I am not saying she nags, far from it but I can see others get this impression

I get mad when she says I'm 28 I'm mature and older than you lot. .I don't act like you do.. Ok, she may think being nearly 30 means you should act more mature.. but I'm 28 and trust me I still act like i'm 16.. We all get moany and say stop it when people misbehave but, Nicky can relax and laugh some more.. There is no law saying when you are a certain age you have to act a certain way!

I desperately want to like Nicky more.. I think she's a good housemate.. I plead with her to relax more, like she's starting to, as I do believe she has a great sense of humour there, if she lets it come out... Still early days though. Nicky knows how she's acting is not how she wants to act .. as she constantly says she hopes people don't think she moans or is grumpy.. So Nicky please love relax.
