Not really an attack by France, is it?

It's just a French magazine cartoon.

And just for translation purposes, the title says "Why Meghan left Buckingham" and Meghan is actually saying "Because I couldn't breathe", as a reference, I'm sure you all noticed, to what happened to George Floyd last year.

This is Charlie Hebdo, a French satirical weekly magazine most known for its controversial cartoons. Nothing to really worry about, they make fun of everyone and everything.

And arista you know the French are not nasty, I know you love us and watch France24 all the time. We know you're obsessed

It's satire, but it's a good example of how media spin things to push a certain narrative and how the public come to accept that narrative as the truth.

Meghan was complimentary to the queen, she humanised her in a way that we rarely see with that cute little story about how they shared a blanket on an engagement and how, despite the Media's involvement, the queen still talks to Harry on most days to check in. Yet, the media and the people will go on about how Meghan's disrespected the queen and opposes the royal family despite statements to the contrary. There's nothing to that narrative, the statements contradict it, yet people will believe it because it's what they want to believe and the media will gladly serve it up for clicks.

Of course there is, this is what Charlie Hebdo is doing on regular basis.
I didn't even think Charlie Hebdo would even comment on that with a drawing, but here we are. It seems and looks very shocking to a lot of people, there's no denying in that. I suppose Charlie Hebdo didn't attack the Queen herself, but more so the Institution as a whole and based on Meghan's allegations of racism.
