Her face/eyes look like they have been pulled so tightly she can barely blink.

Hence why she wears a lot of sunglasses and eyepatches at public appearances these days (her whole last album promotion was done with at least one eye covered with a patch, "a fashion statement"). Seeing only one eye takes away a bit of the shock at just how tight they look I guess?

I mean they look so sore and watery:
