The Queen has tested positive for Covid, Buckingham Palace has said.

The palace said the monarch is experiencing mild "cold-like symptoms" but expects to continue "light duties" at Windsor over the coming week.

"She will continue to receive medical attention and will follow all the appropriate guidelines," the palace said in a statement.

The Queen had been in contact with her eldest son and heir, the Prince of Wales, who tested positive last week.

I know with that diagnosis that this is a real long shot, but maybe it's a cold?

IN the 4 weeks prior to Feb 4th in Scotland

478 people died with covid on their death certificate

Of that number 417 were fully vaccinated

The Scottish Government have now announced they wont be publishing covid deaths by vaccine status anymore

My dad sailed through the last strain at 92….this strain is not as bad so I’m sure the Queen will be fine…unless she has an underlying problem.

It's just been one stressful thing after the other for the Queen for quite a while now.
Hopefully she'll be okay and wishing her a speedy recovery.

she is frail so we will just have to hope she gets over it quickly. I really want her to get to 100 and have to send herself a birthday card
