What does everyone here think? How do you know if you are in love with someone? Do you just know? What if you mistake love for friendship?

I don't think it's easy to mistake love for friendship... when you think of them when they're with you, and then think of them when they're not with you, thats love.

Edit: Also, when I reach 6 0's on the end of my overdraft and I don't need to worry about it. Also love.

I have been there and it is never off your mind and takes over your life completely.

But you can only hope that she feels the same way in return and continues to feel that way?

But for many, it is a success

That's a feeling I can't explain. Maybe because my relationship with my girlfriend is complicated, with a lot of passion. I can say I love her because I can't live without her, I think about her the night and the day, we have so much in common, it's incredible. Even if our story is complicated because people are jealous to see 2 popular people being together, a lot of rumours have been said but we were stronger than the others and finally,even if the rumours are not stopped, we don't mind, it created too much drama.
That's why I can say I love her, we had a lot of lows but a lot of highs too.

I think that its safe to say it's love if you get butterflies in your belly when you first see them on any given day. I have been married for 15 years and together longer and still at the end of a day when my hubby pulls up outside the house I get that "oooh he's home" feeling. Now dont get me wrong it aint all pink and butterflies but he is "the one"
