[Scotland's Deputy First Minister
John Swinney confirms that the
top two income tax rates will rise by
a penny in the pound from April 2023
That will take the higher rate from
41p to 42p and the top rate
from 46p to 47p.
The change is expected to raise
an additional £129m in 2023-24]
