A Old Biddie contacted BBC Newswatch on BBCnewsHD Fridays. She is Angry her BBC1 SD is going she is on a low income and can not afford a new TV. BBC Response said they warned last November and stated they can not stop HD progress on a small amount still on Non HD TV's The bloated BBC should buy her a HD TV. [All the SD versions of the BBC channels on satellite, including BBC One, will be closing in early 2024.] https://www.thesun.co.uk/tech/211601...-lose-bbc-one/ Last edited by arista; 04-03-2023 at 04:33 PM. | |||
