Every live show seems to has lacked excitement, I suspect it’s the presenting/set
Just feels flat I also think the lift ruins it when housemates get evicted, it should be separate for housemates that don’t need it Last edited by Will.; 17-11-2023 at 08:22 PM. |

Really hope they build stairs for the next series, they have the upstairs lounge area that they can easily turn into the entrance

I agree, even miss like suprise midweek evictions that we use to have in the C4 days. There was more hype with BBLB than BBOts and Late and Live. I just miss Ch4 in general

I actually think this was the most “event” feel the final has had in a long time
Would agree re. most of the live shows and the set really is so ugly and awkward, but I thought they produced a great show tonight (minus relegating the actual winners interview to the spin-off show). I particularly enjoyed AJ and Will’s walks between the L&L studio and the main stage, made it feel a bit less ”polished” (which I think is a plus) |

No offence intended but i truly feel that that's all on you. Your anticipation and excitement cant be met, the fact you felt excited should show what a good job they've done. You wouldn't have been excited if the series had been ****.
It's like when i went to watch Scream 6 i was so hyped i didn't fully enjoy it on first screening so i had to go back and rewatch to take it all in. Last edited by daniel-lewis-1985; 18-11-2023 at 01:12 AM. |

A number of reasons, as we all suspected before it started the outdoor set is so small, that stage is not as good as the stair walk we used to have. The countdown is annoying. We don't see the housemates have a minute to themselves before the doors open so we don't see that pre tension just before they walk out. The housemates cheering spoils any tension anyway. AJ and Will are just not Davina or Emma either. Also it all feels rushed and then late and live seems to be the show that's more favoured for the actual live stuff. So yeah it's very flat

There was nothing wrong with the set etc. The late and live show however, was an utter disgrace

Reminds me of when Brian was the host.
I really like Brian and AJ, but they don't have the ... X Factor? ... that Emma and Davina brought to the show.

The evictions have been disappointing.
I think it's a combination of a really bad design - it's all squeezed into a car park, you don't get to see them walking from the stage into the studio for the interview (we got to see Will and AJ walking out during the final though!), you don't get to see the housemates composing themselves to walk out the door and the presenting is all super scripted and a bit flat. I also don't think they're going to be able to make an upstairs entrance, I doubt the studio wants them cutting holes in their soundstage for a 6 week show! I mean the entrance & garden were built into a loading bay! Last edited by dawa; 18-11-2023 at 10:59 AM. |
