I have had a lovely day, don't get me wrong, but twice now I've put something on telly that I wanted to watch and Karl's mum has turned it off. I'm not a happy bunny. I wanted to watch Karaoke songs on C5 and she's put the Chase on
. I was actually watching it!!

That's Christmas Kate. My Dad did the same to us....but i figured he's the guest so I just popped stuff on record and will watch it later. Its even worse now as Matthew has put the bloody PlayStation on in the front room for a bit so I'm hiding in the kitchen waiting for my friends to call.

The French and Italians have the best idea .. they have huge family meals / get- togethers then open all the presents .. on Christmas Eve !!

Then they all chill out on Christmas Day !!

I'm annoyed at myself for watching emotional videos tonight. Especially when one of them is michael Smiths winning the darts celebration with his family.

And I've not even touched Gin since god knows when.

I had my Nan in my ear all day, she's the sweetest person ever, saying (in her own unique little not so subtle way) "oh Joseph, you really need to get yourself a girlfriend, you've been single too long now, you're not getting any younger". Nice one, thanks Nan
