Default I've been to Blackpool for the day.
Had a marvellous time.

Went to a lovely cafe, just given it an online review, very positive. Food lovely, staff pleasant and not expensive.

I hear that Blackpool is a sh!thole these days. I was pondering going there just last month. But I was turned off when I researched it.

A shame really, because when I went as a kid it was a magical place.

I recommend Scarborough for a seaside town in the North, that's still a fairly decent sea-side town and there ain't many of them left in the country.

It does have its downside.. the iconic, beautiful Scarborough Grand hotel is currently housing illegal invaders. I was looking to book there recently but again was put off by research.

Scarborough itself is still beautiful though and has plenty there. And the fish and chips are amazing

With Scarborough aswell. You can get a bus for Ł2 to Whitby. Takes 1 hour.or you can get off 15 minutes earlier at Robin Hoods bay.

Blackpool is amazing. Every town has parts you don't want to go to.
I just stick to the seafront and go to the town centre for shopping.
There's the Tower which I love and of course the beautiful ballroom.
The seafront is my favourite part, in summer it's such a great place to watch the sea and relax.
