Maru do you see the problem now?
As posted on our LT's Weather Thread Fema (Federal Emergency Management Agency) has to sort Super Storms mess made across those zones. But that boss has run out of Cash! https://www.thisisbigbrother.com/for...7#post11515927 ![]() [A political row has erupted after Donald Trump claimed Americans hit hard by Hurricane Helene were losing out on emergency relief money because it had been spent on migrants. The White House swiftly rebutted the claims and accused Republicans of spreading "bold-faced lies" about funding for the disaster response. On Wednesday US Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas had said the Federal Emergency Management Agency (Fema), which he oversees, was short on cash for the rest of hurricane season. Trump and his allies expressed outrage that the agency had spent over $640m (£487m) on housing migrants. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c5y3qgqxpwno https://x.com/elonmusk/status/1842252268856324160 Last edited by arista; 05-10-2024 at 04:07 PM. |

Immigration used to be a partisan issue, but it's fast become part of a list of evergrowing complaints where the govt is doing things that are not sensible and is seen as a mockery... so I'd say it's an everyone issue now.
