Default Do you warm tea in the microwave?

(And by extension coffee, I guess.)

My Swiss husband does this. I think it’s a European thing because they don’t have kettles

Obviously I would not MAKE tea or coffee in the microwave, however there's nothing wrong with a 30 second reheat if it's gone a bit tepid.

... there are one or two occasions where I've got up at 8.45 for a 9am meeting and microwaved ice cold, yesterday's coffee out of the cafetiere which is uncivilised animal behaviour BUT sometimes the need for caffeine and lack of time overrides basic human decency.

Obviously I could get up earlier but there have to be some perks to the WFH life.

If I've let a cup of tea or coffee get cold I will warm it up in the microwave.
