The appeal? Predictability from the beginning, a house of freaks, and failed twists.

Don't bring in Jonty and Shanessa to give BB8 the BB7 edge, make it fresh. I'd say bring in Kara-Louise since she seems like a nice girl, and Amy to stir things up a bit (and some eye candy wouldn't be bad either)
