Default Freedom at last?

Now Chan-hell has left the building do you think Ziggy will be given the time to shine or do you think if he is up he will go because of the backlash from Chanelle fans especially?

To be honest I kind of felt for Ziggy cos when Chanelle was in there it was like she controlled him she just wanted all the attention for her. I think now she's gone, Ziggy can just be himself, have a laugh and get to know the other housemates without Chanelle constantly watching him

even though he'd break up with chanelle, whenever he felt needy, he'd go right back to her. now that she's out of the house, i think he's going to feel even more insecure, which might lead him to cling to someone new. perhaps amy? lol.

Not really. Now he's stuck in a smaller space with 2 lunatics and a glamour model. Not what I call freedom!

i think he will go
but not because go chanelle

but because he is not likeable guy - he always worried about comeing of the bad guy to the public - not worried for chanelle who he says he has feeling for

I feel sorry for him, I mean he's in a lose - lose situation whatever he does really. I strongly dislike Chanelle and even now she's gone you would think he would do better but people are going to blame him for her departure and he's not going to be liked, I still like him because I can see past it, like others, I can see the other side of the story.

Keep Ziggy in! I feel sorry for him coz he is getting stick from the hms and the public for the chanelle thing but no-one seems to be questioning her part in it. Her tantrums and the way she wudnt let Ziggy tlk to Charley. Get Shanessa out instead or Jonty. Keep the original hms in!

They spend less time together than Liam and Bri do but they seem to be more on the same level.

What I mean by this is them both being in the half way house together. They seem to be even closer now.

Now is Ziggy's time to shine. He sacrificed himself to the house when he volunteered for the HWH (no one else would have seriously done that). I hope he will be rewarded with some good times and a chance to get over that lunatic he got involved with.

The moment Chanelle left (well, on the day that he thought she left, when she hadn't yet) you could see the change in his manerisms to that of a man freed from captivity.

He did feel claustraphobic when she was around...but it was his choice to try and keep himself look good to the public by making Chan happy by not breaking up.

Any man who has ever split up with a crazy woman will be able to understand his relief to finally be rid of her.

Of course it's understandable. I didn't say it was bad that he was happy to be free.

However, now that you've agreed that he was elated Chanelle left, aren't you a little bit suspicious of why he didn't voice this instead showing he was upset she left, when in fact, that's not the case?

Have you ever been in this situation (barring the tv and cameras?)

If I was happy to leave a relationship, I'd show that I was. Not go on to tell others (whom would have contact with that person) that I was in fact sad she had gone.

I still dislike him, but he's a lot happier and more comfortable without that stress. And so is Chanelle.

Why would that be?

Apologies if I have left my comment to misinterpretation. I didn't mean that Ziggy should go on the roof celebrating Chanelle's leaving. I just meant that he shouldn't hide the fact that he's glad about it and try to portray different emotions.

He should have just been truthful, "yeah, I'm happier now she's gone...I'm more free..." etc etc. It may have opened him up to some abuse but at least it was honest. I mean he has said several times "I cannot wait to get outside, be free, have my own space, away from Chanelle". Just be honest about it. Kinda like how liam was with Amy.

You really can't be serious. He knows Chanelle (for some reason) has a lot of fans out there. What good would it do him to point out the fact that he's glad she's gone? He had feelings for her. Anyone with eyes can see that - no point in saying it. And you're comparing this with Liam and Amy??

That's exactly the point. He knows Chanelle has a lot of fans and said what he did for their benefit. If you're saying something aware of the fact that it's a touchy subject for the other person, you're not really going to voice the (whole) truth.

Like how when the HWH had to decide on who the original housemate had to go with the 3 newbies. They were aware that they were being watched (and said so afterwards) and so watched what they said, buttering up who ever they were going to pick. Saying they were strong.

Again, this just reinforces that he is aware of the camera and is playing the audience.

I'm not saying that their relationship is like Liam and Amy. I'm saying be honest, KINDA like liam was to Amy. He didn't want it to go further with her at the time so he asked them to 'cool it'.

I really think you're missing the point that it's a gameshow.

Ziggy WAS honest the whole way with Chanelle. You're saying he has no feelings for her? Liam had the benefit of hindsight so makes it VERY clear what his intentions are. And it only lasted ONE DAY. I can't believe I am having to explain this.
