New girl lies over podcasting task to grab attention

Glamour model Amy LIED to her BB housemates yesterday in a desperate bid to get more attention.

She was chosen to do a podcast recording by Big Brother and called into the diary room.

But after being given the recording equipment - and told to go back into the house to speak to the other contestants - Amy, 21, decided to steal the limelight for herself.

Carole asked Amy: "Where's the podcast? What do we have to do?'" But sly Amy replied: "No, they want me to do it all." She then sat in the corner of the house and began recording it alone. A show source said: "Big Brother encouraged her to go out into the house and get thoughts and opinions from other people.

"But Amy clearly wanted this to be her podcast.

"Perhaps she thinks it could win her some fans and give her a chance of staying in the house longer.

"Either way it was quite a sneaky move and shows what she is capable of."

Amy's relationship with Liam looks to have run out of steam.

He told her: "There isn't a romance. You're just a bit of female company... just some skin getting touched."

Liam is worried that being close to her could ruin his other house friendships.

Shanessa and David were the losers in Friday night's double eviction.

The pair were beaten in the public vote by Kara-Louise and Tracey, who are now full members of the main BB house.

Shanessa, 27, and David, 25, had spent a week in the halfway house, paying only visits to the main pad.

Both told Davina they were devastated to go.

As a shaky David was comforted by other housemates, he muttered: "I knew I was going anyway."

Shanessa's dream guy Ziggy asked her to say hello to his love Chantelle on the outside. He said: "Tell her I miss her terribly."

She later told Davina: "This has broken my heart. I think I made a big impact for the wrong reasons."

Pagan David said: "They always vilify the witch."
