Victoria Beckham has been given just four lines to sing on the Spice Girls' comeback track. According to a report in the Daily Star today, Posh's solo spot in 'Headlines (Friendship Never Ends)' lasts for just fifteen seconds, and she has to share one of her lines with Mel B. Emma Bunton, who wrote the song with Geri Halliwell, sings a whole verse at the beginning of the track. Halliwell and Mel C also feature heavily. However, a spokesman for the band insisted: "The verses have all been shared out equally among the five members and they all sing together on the chorus." |

I take the word "sings" very lightly. The woman has the talent of a sloth.

Emma's my favourite now because I like her voice the best, but when I was little my favourite Spice Girl was Posh Spice. And thinking back, she didn't sing the main vocals etc. back then either, just on the chorus mainly. She was always the Spice Girl who sang the least.
However, I do think she can sing in tune (obviously) and was a good addition to the Spice Girls, but her voice probably doesn't stand out as much as the others, hence them always singing more. Posh Spice got a lot more of her fame after leaving the Spice Girls, in my opinion - and not through her singing either... So this news story doesn't surprise me in the slightest really if it's true. |

The less of the song she "sings" the better it will probably be.
