I ordered my pod touch on the 28th September and on the 29th they were being shipped out(it's for my birthday which is today) i was meant to get it 4 weeks ago this is the first problem but anyway i got it today i opened it and the screen was cracked can you believe this.comments please.

That's really poor service. They should have taken more care of it. As for it arriving late, I've heard about that a lot lately - i.e. ordering items online and them arriving ages later. It doesn't always happen but it seems to happen a lot with me. Hopefully it won't take too long to get a replacement, but I'll admit it must be a little annoying. Try not to let it ruin your birthday though - you deserve a great time!

Im having similar problems with a new mobile phone I bought online...
Apparently it's delayed because of the backlog etc from the recent postal strike, but it's been a week now and it should be here.

If it's damaged then i'll be in the same position as you were in with the ipod, and won't be very happy to say the least.

I usually receive things from the internet the day after I buy them, one day after that at most. Ive been waiting 1-2 weeks or more for things lately, due to all the over spoilt postal staff holding strikes and demanding more.
