Default Spice Girls New Faces of Xmas Tesco Campaign

There are several things that struck us when we saw this picture from the new Spice Girls Tesco Christmas campaign.

a) Posh is smiling – which is practically unheard of.
b) Why is nobody talking to Baby?
c) All that food – surely they don't really expect us to believe that they are actually going to eat any of it?

The Spice ladies have teamed up for a new series of Tesco adverts – this is the first of two in which Posh, Baby, Sporty, Ginger and Scary will all bag a million quid. The ad sees Ginger wanting Turkey, while the others want goose or beef. Posh, however, wants Lobster. Presumably so it can carry her to her next flight. In the second advert the girls go shopping, but try desperately not to be spotted – which must have taken some acting. The first ad goes out during Corrie on 12 November, conveniently the same day their Greatest Hits album is released.
