COMIC Christopher Biggins became an unlikely hero as motor-mouth Janice Dickinson wimped out on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!

Flamboyant panto king Biggins, 59, came into the jungle camp and was immediately thrown into a Bushtucker Challenge.

He was teamed up with Janice, the viewers' choice to undergo the ordeal for the third time.

The 52-year-old model turned TV presenter boasted she was ready for anything - but then got the wobbles when faced with five separate sets of horrible creatures.

American Janice wailed for so long that the fourth part of the trial had to be abandoned and she managed just one star out of a possible four in almost half an hour.

She refused to put her hand anywhere near the rats, wimped out of approaching the scorpions and snubbed the snakes.

Janice did manage to win a star by putting her head into a box of spiders but she was so shaken by the experience she thought she had failed the test and wept as she howled: "I can't do that."

Biggins won two stars by braving buckets of slime and cockroaches which were dumped on him.

For the fifth and final part, both contestants entered a box into which creepy - crawlies and dust and dirt were blown about.

Janice fled the test before it even began, shouting: "I'm such a loser."

Biggins stuck it out to lift four stars, meaning the camp of 11 celebrities got a total of seven meals last night.

This might be slightly off topic, plus might have been said before...

But am I noticing an unusually large amount of old men this year? Im sure ive seen a lot of grey hair.

Also, I swear Janice had a very "tough" attitude and claimed she'd accomplish anything? or something along those lines, then her first excuse came when she announced she had an eel phobia...

Now she's not even attempting the tasks and just generally being spoiled/fussy. She's all mouth, which is a shame when you've nothing worthwhile to say.
