X-Factor judges in silent feud

X-FACTOR reject Andy Williams has revealed judges Sharon Osbourne and Dannii Minogue do not speak to each other.

The Welshman, who was evicted on Saturday, also feels Dannii has been unfairly treated by her fellow judges, especially arch-enemy Sharon, who has yet to win a series in three attempts.

Dannii's arrival has made Sharon's task even tougher and Andy believes that may be a factor behind Mrs O's behaviour.

Andy said: "There is rivalry, I never saw them speak to each other.

"Sharon hasn't won a show yet and she is going all out to win. The judges are always having digs at Dannii because she had three acts left. They are always saying she picked the wrong songs for her artists."

However, sadly for Andy, Danni admitted in his case she had made the wrong choice.

Andy sang Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol and according to the 23-year-old, both himself and his mentor quickly released it was the wrong decision.

"We picked it together but we made a mistake," said Andy. "Initially we thought it was the right choice but in rehearsal it wasn't sounding right.

"I started off in the wrong key during the live performance and that didn't help things."

His effort merited a place in the bottom two where resulted in a sing-off against school teacher Beverley Trotman.

Only Dannii chose to keep him in, with Sharon, Louie and Simon voting for Beverley. Simon said Andy had already peaked in the competition.

Andy hit back: "I had a lot more to give. I never got to sing a song I knew I could do well."

Despite Dannii's error, Andy holds nothing but respect for his mentor and hopes one of her remaining acts, Scotsman Leon Jackson or fellow Welshman and bookies favourite Rhydian Roberts, wins.

Andy said: "Dannii has been amazing. She really wanted to win the show and she was always ringing me and giving me encouragement.

"She came down to the practice sessions and couldn't have been more supportive.

"I would like to see Leon get to the final and everybody is loving Rhydian at the moment, so Dannii has a real chance of winning."

But what now for Andy? Hopefully not back to running his asbestos removal company.

He added. "I've got to keep my head up and use this as a springboard on to other things.

"I've made it far enough to go on the tour, but if things don't go well after, I might have to go back.

"But hopefully something will come out of it so I don't."

If you never watched series 2, Sharon & Shayne had a very special relationship to say the least

Perhaps they're busy? It's not like they need to be the best of friends... but they can equally still not be rivals. After all, they're pretty different people in my opinion. There are many different interpretations you could have, but obviously these stories provide more entertainment as well as material for the media (the X Factor does seem to be relying on that a lot more these days). At any rate, Sharon seems aware that she will lose again this year.

Jealousy, jealousy....Sharon will loose one more time ! She will be so pissed when Dannii will win with Rhydian ! Can't wait to see her face !

I don't think Rhydian'll win, either.. I think either Niki or Hope will win, because Rhydian will get offered a record deal regardless of where he finishes.



And also, I have noticed that, on the live shows, Sharon and Dannii don't seem to interact at all.

Yeah definitely. I'm not sure if it's been played up at all, I genuinely don't think they like each other.
