Strictly dancer Brendan Cole outshines partner Kelly Brook in sparkly pink shoes

Stricty Come Dancing heartthrob Brendan Cole may be wearing the trousers - but it looked like he'd borrowed Kelly Brook's shoes when the couple danced their way through the jive last night.

Brendan strutted his stuff to the hit Johnny B Goode in a pair of bright pink sparkly shoes which looked far more feminine than his dance partner's.

As Kelly grooved round the stage in a sexy pink outfit BBC viewers were drawn to Brendan's dainty shoes - instead of her skimpy pink skirt and revealing top.

Meanwhile, the judges rubbished Kate Garraway's performance, saying that "a bull in a frock could do better" and likened her to "a plank."

Judge Bruno Tonioli said: "A bull in a frock would have done a better Paso Doble."

And fellow judge Craig Revel Horwood also blasted the GMTV presenter's performance, saying: "You did the best you could do but it was very plankish."

Last week Arlene Phillips declared Kate's salsa to be "as sexy as a coconut" and this week she was bottom in the judge's rankings with a dismal 21 points for their jive to the song Somebody Told Me by The Killers.

Kate and Anton will face a dance-off against ex-rugby international Kenny Logan and Ola Jordan - who scored 22 points for dancing the Cha Cha Cha to the Michael Jackson hit Billie Jean.

Arlene attacked Kenny's performance, saying: "We are now in week seven and that was about the standard of a seven-year-old in a dance class."
