Amy Winehouse kills hamster

Amy Winehouse really is increasing her tabloid infamy this morning (November 23), as recalling the now legendary headline "Freddie Starr ate my hamster", the singer has been accused of killing one of the furry little things.

Singer Peter Pepper from Palladium is claiming that Winehouse was responsible for the death of a rodent called Georgie Porgie.

"Georgie was a birthday present and we'd got him out to play with in the morning. I'd been to bed, but Amy had stayed up and was still going strong and had drunk the drinks cabinet dry," he told The Mirror. "The next thing I know, it bites me, runs off and Amy says she'll catch it. I was a bit suspicious when she said she was good with hamsters."

He explained that while he was getting some much needed first aid, the hamster killer struck.

"I went to put a plaster on my finger and by the time I came back Amy said she'd put it to bed and it was sleeping," he explained.

"But just hours later the hamster was stone cold and hard. I don't know what she did to it - it was probably crack!"

Being the big girl's Dior Homme blouse that he is, Pepper has never confronted Wino about the slaughter.

"I've never directly accused her of killing my hamster as I'm too scared. She can be quite fierce," he said. "That day last year was quite traumatic. Not only did I have to deal with a dead hamster, but for some reason Amy had also managed to unplug the freezer and flooded the whole kitchen and utility room. She can be a bit mental sometimes."

i have a bit of a reputation with hamsters.
I once had a pet one and because my attic is so cold in the winter it froze one night and we thought it was dead but luckily my mam revived it!
Another time I was at a friends houseparty and i decided to feed his hamster some garlic bread-the next day it was dead!
I then went on to have another unfortunate event with a hamster when i stayed over at an ex bfs house once and decided to pick up and have a bit of a play around with his pet hamster-2 days later it was found dead in its cage!
I should probably be reported to the RSPCA

I wouldn't touch hamsters again if I were you SN. You seem to have a killer touch!

I didn't feed my hamster as regularly as I should have...
Plus it was kept on top of a wardrobe so I couldn't see it most of the time, unless I brought it down.

Anyhow, it basically became so hungry that it bit its own leg off and bled to death >_<

Not the best of ways to go, not the best type of suicide either im guessing.

Well when I was 7 I thought my hamster was dead so i put it in the wheelie bin :| n my mum went outt o put the rubbish in and it was moving about

Turned nout it was sleeping
