me again, well when i was with xp my sound was perfect when i used this programme, basically its a programme that records the sound played through your speakers.

when i installed vista over my xp laptop. it didnt have any sound so i went to acer and downlaoded the sound for my model on vista and the sound works perfectly,

now when i try and record with audacity the sounds not being picked up ive tired loads of things using the mic, the line in and its not clear any help please xxxxxxxxx

Have you raised the sound in Audacity ? Cause it happened to me when you have to put "Stereo Mixer" and to raise speakers and the mic. And now it works perfectly.

yeah still dont work x
