Louis regrets Hope?

Louis Walsh has apparently revealed that he regrets putting X Factor girl band Hope together.

The music manager told Heart 106.2: "It was my idea and it was a mistake. They started off good but girl bands are hard work. It's very hard for the five of them to get on.

"They all want to sing lead vocals, that's the problem."

He added: "They're not going to sell a million records, there's no way."

Louis also slammed the Spice Girls on the eve of the start of their world tour.

"They're just five girls out there trying to make some money now," he said.

"I think young kids grew up with that Girl Power thing, that's the attraction. I don't get it because they can't sing in my books."

"All Saints' comeback was a disaster and they were a better girl band, they were a better looking band and they were a better band vocally and nothing happened."
