Rhydian Roberts has been consoled by Simon Cowell over his X Factor loss – the judge has set him up on a date!

The virginial Welsh warbler is looking forward to a romantic meal with Simon’s make-up artist after Rhydian let it slip that he fancied her.

TV’s ‘Mr Nasty’ immediately swept into action – and set up a meal together.

Roberts tells the News Of The World, “I approached Simon to ask his permission and he sorted it out. Simon was absolutely charming and couldn't have been nicer."
