BIG Brother bosses have slapped a strict sex ban on tasks set in the house after fearing the red-hot action could get out of hand.

Show bosses have now warned all celebrity hijackers they can’t issue any steamy demands on the contestants.

The ban was said to have been sparked when a male celebrity reportedly asked if he could make two of the sexy female contestants snog each other.

Last night, a show insider revealed: “Celebrities can’t give out any sex-related tasks.

“The housemates can’t be asked to do anything that they might be uncomfortable with.”

The behind-the-scenes decision was made after executives signed up a host of male celebrities.

X-Men star Alan Cumming had the housemates dressing up in outrageous costumes when he took charge yesterday – but show bosses are more worried about giving ladies man Russell Brand a free rein when the randy comic hijacks the show tomorrow.

The source revealed: “Russell is extremely cheeky so we’re prepared for some near-the-knuckle tasks.

“However, Russell and other celebrities won’t be able to ask the girls to kiss or anything else."

The sex ban will disappoint millions of male telly viewers.

They have been lusting after hottie housemates Emilia, 18, Amy, 21, La Toya, 19, Jade, 21, and Calista, 19.

Despite the sex ban, female housemates will not be stopped from having girl-on-girl fun on their own.

The insider claimed: “If the girls get tipsy and want to experiment, there isn’t a lot we can do about it.”

One fan said last night: “You can see why they want to stop some of the hijackers getting too wicked.

“If they egged on some of the contestants after they’ve all had a few too many drinks, it could end up like a Roman orgy.”

A Big Brother spokesman said: “The celebrities obviously have guidance.

“They work together with our producers as a team. We couldn’t just let them have a free rein over things.

“We have the same guidelines as other shows in that regard.”

John Loughton, 20, and Anthony Ogogo, 19, were the market movers in Big Brother Celebrity Hijack yesterday, according to bookmakers Ladbrokes.

The Scottish politician is still top of the polls and has been trimmed from 11/4 to 5/2.

But boxer Anthony is hoping to deliver a knockout blow and has been backed in from 5/1 to 4/1.
