Default Orphanages

What are your opinions on these Orphanages you see on TV

I think its really bad, with grown men in cots, unable to move, kids starving, and living in their own filth, I feel really sorry for them

I saw one in bulgaria. Children were abandoned by their parents- most of the time because of learning difficulties but sometimes through other disabilities, even though mentally they were fine.

One boy was abadoned because he was blind but mentally he was fine- he'd just never been taught to speak. Nearly all of them were painfully thin too.

At one point, one of the children was screaming in pain and staff were just rubbing cream on her. The film crew and journalist pointed out that her leg was broken but the staff didn't seem to notice.

It was one of those things you don't really want to watch but can't stop once you start watching...

I'm glad someone else saw it, it was one of the most upsetting things I've ever seen on tv.
