Default Adult Cartoon Vote

Family Guy or The Simpson's??

Its an on-going war in America over the two because Family Guy has boosted it ratings, so I wondered whch one people like more over here in Britain?

The Simpsons isn't an adult cartoon, its a multilayered cartoon. I used to love it but in the past 5 years I've got so fed up of it.

The Simpsons. I LOVE Family Guy, but The Simpsons was such a huge part of my childhood.

I LOVE both programmes, but I've got with The Simpsons, simply because it is one of THE biggest TV phenomenons ever, even if its success is waning slightly now.

Family Guy, The Simpsons stopped being good about five years ago, and even then it wasn't as good as Family Guy.

I think that, with the fact that these are both cartoon comedies - realism has already gone out the window...

The Simpsons is one of the best shows ever made, live or animations. It has gone downhill but then every show does at some point in its run. It has, however, done just about e verything that it could have and tackled just about every topic it could have.

Family Guy is way too disjointed for me. The shows use very funny quick plotlines only to completely disregard them a few minutes later. Some parts of Family Guy will have nothing at all to do with any plot. They seem to use casual random scenes just to make an obscure reference. I dont think it works as well. So I voted for the Simpsons.

I'm surprised this poll is so close.

Theres no comparison between Family Guy and Simpsons. Simpsons wins hands down. Family Guy is a cheap version of Simpsons. Simpsons has been around for nearly 20yrs, so its obvious who wins.

Family Guy. Hand down. Greatest TV cartoon of all time.

So what of The Simpson's has been around 20 years - it's only funny 2% of the time. It's extremely repetitive, and the humor is bland and predictable.

Family Guy is fresh, original, random, funny. Pure genius.

Family Guy.
I know many may think it's stupid, but almost all of the episodes make me laugh. With The Simpsons, a few from the earlier seasons and rarely any now make me even chuckle.

I'd love for The Simpsons to stay on because it can provide entertainment every once in a while, but Family Guy is a whole lot funnier.

South Park is better than both of them and I wouldn't really call the Simpsons a adult cartoon it is more a family cartoon.

I agree about the Simpsons, South Park is great too, but Drawn Together wins hands down!

I disagree with Drawn Together. In my opinion, it's quite a trashy show.
