Default NO CHICKENS!!!!

The chickens were the real stars of the show

Why get rid of them ?

Where would Darren have been with out Marjorie

How about Betty

Alex asking about drying chickens?

Last year when the chickens were ill, it felt empty

After all the chickens were more interesting than the contestants.

BRING BACK THE CHICKENS

Who are the real stars?

The Chickens

They could not be worse than the human housemates

I'll miss the chickens as well. I seem to remember reading ages ago that one of the stipulations Jon de Mol made when he franchised out the format was that there was ALWAYS to be chickens.

They have had bad luck with the health of the chickens over the years. mabe that's why they have dropped them. For their sake.

If that is the case, we someone were to drop him a line, would the producers have to somehow put them in or even cancel BB5 in the middle of a run?

We can but dream

Well, as de Mol is the creator of Endemol Entertainment (and it's many international arms), I doubt he's going to go penalise his own companies. I suspect it's some of the usual ideas that people come up with. It's equally worth noting that most BB running countries don't have chickens.

I don't miss the chickens at all they were literally a waste of space, no one liked cleaning them out. They were dirty always craping everywhere when let out onto the grass, they always fell ill, so no one could eat the eggs, they never layed enough egg's anyway. They nearly all drowned once, when their coup was flooded they were more trouble than they were worth at the end of the day.

Seriously, Steve - I think you may be right in your earlier post.

The chickens invariably became ill, with some unfortunately fatal consequences , so maybe there have been complaints about them being exposed to the housemates 'tlc' yet again.

I think it's a good thing that there are no chickens this year. Most of the housemates don't seem responsible enough to take care of anything but themselves.

Well I dont know about being capable of taking care of themselves

I would like to see the chickens but I did worry about them bless their poor wee feathered hearts, noone really looked after them.
