It may have taken over a week from the launch of her pop career with single I Want It.

But Chanelle Hayes managed to survive a night on stage without having things thrown at her.

The Posh Spice lookalike once again turned to her trusty orange corset, hot pants and fishnet tights, this time the Synergy nightclub in Rotherham.



But unlike her performance in Warrington the night before, she wasn't heckled.

The 20-year-old Big Brother flop said she hasn't pigeon-holed herself.



She said she's tried "loads of stuff, like modelling, music, or even launching my own perfume. If you know what you want then go for it. But be open minded and prepare to work hard."

And, after her emotional experience on Big Brother, the she's holding out high hopes for her new MTV reality show Chanelle: Wannabe Popstar.



The first episode of the TV show, which follows her from getting a record contract to releasing the single, started on Vh1 last Friday.

Chanelle wisely advised her fans: "Don't become a diva because you never know how long you're going to be famous for."



But cynics are already speculating that a raunchy video clip of her, which found its way on to the internet the day of the launch, was not a mistake.

In the footage of the Yorkshire-born wannabe cavorting in her underwear on an alleged sex tape, she perhaps conveniently kept on her clothes and could not be seen interacting with anyone else.
