So now that the eye flash has aired what does this usually mean how many days till the show or whats happening i.e. will they start the countdowns soon, how many days before the launch last year did we get the flash?

They have started much earlier this year. Theres 3 weeks left and they are already doing the flashes. Last year the actual countdown started at 10 days.

This year the show needs more promotion so its hard to make guesses about the dates of the adverts. The adverts have started much earlier I would guess we will get some countdown adverts early next week.

Omgg I realised i guessed right. I said 2 days ago, I have a feeling that the first eye flash will happen, and I was right!

And yeah I think they will start the ads at 16 days for some reason.

i think the house ad will air next thursday along with the e4 coverage advert, davina will probably be on paul o grady next friday to promote the show more

the eyeflashes continued right up until launch night but get less frequent towards the launch

Its just to get more publicity and advertise the show more.

Not really, its good that they are doing it early. They need to get all those viewers back that dissapeared during BB8.The more promotion they do, the better.

I think that Davina should promote it by going on interviews, Im glad that she's starting off by going to the Paul O Grady Show.

that would be good, i can imagine opening magazines and newspaper and a double page spread advert with a black bckground and a massive eye starring at you in the middle.

But do you think people will tune into this years launch? I have a feeling only the people that watched the BB8 finale will watch the launch, so i think that the launch wont get over 6 million.

Okayy, thats really negative and we have to stay positive, everything is all good so far and its great to have a early advert.
