Default Big Brother\'s big return

http://www.myparkmag.co.uk/

'Big Brother' are reportedly planning to bring back old contestants.

Bosses on the show - which returns next Thursday (05.06.08) for its ninth series - are hoping to spice up the programme with the return of past faces including series three winner Kate Lawler, series seven's beauty queen Imogen Thomas, series five's Michelle Bass and last series' villain Charley Uchea.

A source said: "It would be a real twist in the series to bring old housemates back. They've been there, got the t-shirt and know how to play the game.

"So it would really spice things up in the house and undoubtedly wind up the current crop of wannabes, if some of them were to pop in."

Dubbed the nastiest series yet, bosses are also reportedly planning a task which sees the housemates deprived of food for a day, before giving one contestant the chance to eat their favourite foods - which they must resist in order to win the task.

An insider revealed: "It's the ultimate dirty trick. The real test will be for the chosen one who has to resist the temptation for the good of the rest of the group. It has the potential to cause a huge upset."

It originates from the Daily Star, hence their 'source', in other words its a fake story.

It won't happen, it would just be incredibly stupid of them to bring back ex-housemates. If you are going to bring back old housemates do it in an Allstar series, don't bring them back during new series.

This so won't happen, it never works. And anyway they have said officially that these year's HMs are like nothing we've seen before, or something like that.

And I hate the sound of the No Food task... hate those ones when they just ending up whining!

If this is true, I'd more than likely turn off. Maybe for a task sometime or something, nothing else.

Anyone else think this might signal a battle theme of old against new? 8 previous contestants v 8 new contestants? That would be amazing!

I'd love to see Michelle and Charley again!
