Default First week eviction

Are you glad they kept it or should they have scrapped it?

I dislike first week evictions as sometimes (BB 4 and 6) interesting characters leave and we don't realise what we've done till their best bits and interview are broadcast.

If they're going to do a first week eviction, it should be all housemates up and vote-to-save. That way at least, it only culls the dull.

I would have disagreed up until BB7. In both BB7 & BB8, I was quite happy about the first week evictions because two boring people went (Bonnie & Shabnam).

I wouldnt mind a first week eviction if it was done fairly, and the housemates nominate and public evict.

Sid, the thing about the 1st week evictions in BB4 & 6 is that the nomination process was fiddled with to decide who was up for the vote.

That's more of a problem for me than having someone evicted after a week (though I do think 8 days is too short to make your mind up about a Housemate).

Yeah, I know but still. It would be nice for them to make sure they focus on every single housemate in the first week, maybe by giving them bb6 style secret missions to get their suitcases, and then at the end of week 1 a live special where the ones who pass are given their cases, the lines open.

It wouldn't be a great twist, but it would mean we evict the right people. That and all housemates up and vote to save would ensure the right result.

First week evictions don't give the housemates a chance to relax and show their personality.

Do you remember Glyn from BB7? He was up for eviction in the first week, and what a character he developed into lol!

I think first week evictions work well if there is a very boring housemate. However, I think housemates like Bonnie and Shabnam should have been given more time in the house to show off what they had to offer.
Maybe there will be some sort of a twist if the first eviction is taking place on Friday 13th.

Yeah I agree. It would of been really weird without Glyn. He was really quiet in the first week and im glad he developed and we kept him in there.

I totaly agree! I would of love to see more of Bonnie and Shabnam. Bonnie would of been a interesting housemate to watch. And Shabs would of been great once she got over the whole "I'm only doing this to get famous" act.
