All week, the nation has been voting to decide which two nominated housemates will move into the secret bedsit to work for Big Brother in this week’s fake eviction. During tonight’s 9pm show, Davina McCall broke the news to a shocked house that two people would be leaving. Then, in the 10pm show, she announced live to the house that the second and third housemates to be leaving the house would be Emma and Michelle. They had one minute to gather their belongings and say their farewells before leaving their housemates in what they thought was a regular eviction. However, once the door to the main house were firmly shut behind them, they were ushered through a secret door and into the hidden bedsit where they will be living until Big Brother sends them back to the main house.

When Emma and Michelle arrived in the secret bedsit, they discovered a laminate explaining:

“You have entered the secret Big Brother Bedsit. Please do not shout.
You are now working for Big Brother.
You have not been evicted.
The public have voted to decide which two housemates should move into the Big Brother Bedsit - you both received the most votes.
The other housemates are unaware that you are living next door. If they find out, you will face eviction. You must therefore not raise your voices or make any undue noise.
The Big Brother Bedsit contains a plasma screen and two sets of headphones, which allow you to watch and listen to the other housemates 24 hours a day.
Each day Big Brother will give you a task that you must carry out.

If Big Brother deems your work to be satisfactory and you abide by the rules, you will re-enter the Big Brother house at Big Brother’s discretion.

You will be exempt from next week’s nominations.

Further instructions will be delivered shortly.”

On discovering that they had not really been evicted and would be working for Big Brother, the girls’ previous distress at being evicted quickly changed to excitement as they jumped around the room with glee.

By the time phone lines closed this evening 387,168 viewers had cast their vote.

Of the votes cast 54.48% voted for Michelle, 28.68%% voted for Emma and 16.84% voted for Ahmed.

Emma and Michelle will return to their housemates once their work for Big Brother is done.
