PLAYBOY chef Rex Newmark snapped at housemates last night after they teased him about his blossoming relationship with sexy Scouser Stephanie McMichael.

The pair have been spending an increasing amount of time together and often get in bed together for late night chats or sneak outside together for a cigarette.

And last night, after larking around in the pool together, the pair shared an intimate bubble bath, albeit with fellow housemate Bex Shiner, 21.

The closeness between the two has not gone unnoticed by housemates. Alex teased Rex about sharing a bath with Steph, 19, saying: "You two are getting awfully close."

Darnell also noticed the connection the pair have and commented that it might not be appropriate if he has a partner on the outside. He told Jen and Dale: "It's not right for her to be in his armpit all the time, man. She wore his jumper for two days straight."

And when Sylvia suggested housemates should all give Steph a kiss before she goes to bed in case she is evicted tomorrow Jen added: "Wahey Rex I bet you'd be in there first."

But Rex, 24, was not impressed by the banter. He replied: "Nah, I don't think so."

And when Alex De-Gale, 23, told him not to take himself so seriously and lighten up he told her: "This might be funny to you, to us on the inside but it's not funny on the outside, ok?"

But that didn't stop the pair climbing into bed together later on for a chin-wag before bed.

I didn't realise he was already in a relationship. That must be why he's playing it cool. I don't think Steph genuinely fancies him - although who knows.
